Primary Purpose:
To further the Mission of Thurston Woods Village by raising community awareness of services offered at Thurston Woods Village, represent the organization at community events and maintain a strong census across our continuum.
Responsibilities:
Build relationships in the community by actively participating in events sponsored by community and civic organizations.
Develop an annual marketing plan which supports the short and long term vision for Thurston Woods Village.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to marketing efforts, such as census, wait list and lead generation.
Monitor and report on performance indicators related to website traffic, social media and online engagement.
Work with Directors of our communities to monitor follow through on leads for routine reporting on sales activity.
Complete a competitive analysis at least annually, using a consistent assessment tool.
Responsible for digital presence including social media activity, regular updates, promotion of events and services, generate positive reviews, monitoring website for updates and email campaigns.
Develop and implement a plan to maintain regular contact with the community, sponsors and donors in the form of regular newsletters and an annual report.
Educate the community on new projects and incorporate a marketing strategy into the overall plan.
Develop materials (flyers, brochures, etc.) to be used to promote events and services.
Responsible for creation of media, such as print ads, radio spots and other outlets.
Oversee the planning and implementation of fund raising events, gathering a team of staff and volunteers to assist.
Prepare a marketing and fund raising budget of projected revenue and expenses and maintain compliance with the budget.
Order equipment and supplies for the department as needed.
Serve on various committees within the facility and outside the facility as may be appointed by the CEO.
Attend workshops/seminars as necessary to keep abreast of new approaches and developments regarding philanthropic activities.
Education requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Marketing , Communications or related field. Two years of marketing or communications experience, healthcare experience is preferred. Will consider candidates with lengthy professional experience in lieu of education.
