We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Marketing Coordinator. This is a critical role in which you will work closely with the larger Marketing team on multiple projects. If you are self-driven, energetic, and results-oriented, this is a great role for you!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for general support to the Marketing department, with a focus on Marketing events and the implementation of events activities that support and fulfill the Company’s marketing objectives. The primary focus is in the areas of corporate events, tradeshows, and promotional goods, with a secondary focus on general Corporate Marketing & Communications support. In addition, the coordinator will assist with internal employee events and employee appreciation projects, as well as other tasks to support the overall success of the Marketing department.
The individual in this position will be energetic and highly organized, with a positive outlook. They will possess strong communication skills, be a team player and understand the importance of efficiency and forward momentum as it relates to keeping projects moving.
Some travel may be required between facilities.
YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO
• Coordinate projects from inception through completion, manage priorities, maintaining, a strong command of each project’s status, while completing each in a timely manner.
• Participate in and support the process of creating, managing, and updating all global marketing collateral including catalogs, sales materials, print/digital ads, website content, packaging, presentations, and internal templates from both copy/content and visual design perspective.
• Develop creative briefs and work with external agencies on any material development.
• Review all collateral and materials, proofread content for accuracy and ensure appropriate branding.
• Plan and coordinate corporate photography and video shoots (including production planning, prop acquisition, logistics, shot lists, etc.).
• Participate in and support other marketing initiatives as needed, including but not limited to internal communications, bid preparation, trade shows, etc.
• Work with the Director, Marketing & Communications to set project priorities, and work closely with other Marketing team members, Sales team, and other departments as needed to get the job done.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Associate’s Degree in Event Planning, Public Relations or business or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in applicable fields
• Energy, passion and can-do attitude required.
• Good attention to detail is required as well as strong decision-making skills.
• Good work ethic and desire to develop marketing skills is essential.
• Creativity as demonstrated in events management a definite positive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer service or project coordinator’s position is a definite plus.
• Military experience is a plus.
