MARKETING COORDINATOR Marketing and Communications Department

Marketing Coordinators prepare, research and write compelling content for proposals, presentations and other marketing documents and may assist with additional communications and branding efforts.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Remington & Vernick Engineers has an immediate opening for an experienced marketer to join our Marketing and Communications Department.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and critical thinker with AEC industry experience who works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment.

This position requires strong organizational and proofreading skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle client deadlines in a logical, calm and efficient manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

• Develop high-quality deliverables including client proposals, prequalification's, qualification packages, presentations, etc.
• Collaborate with staff of all levels including external teaming members and teaming partners, to develop persuasive, accurate content for marketing collateral that supports the firm’s brand
• Conduct internet and market research as needed to support pursuits and strategic growth
• Develop / maintain / update marketing boilerplate and reference material including content, project descriptions and resumes
• Facilitate and participate in project kickoff, status and other meetings as required
• Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a quality work product
• Update information and generate reports in Deltek VantagePoint and MS Excel
• QA / QC and edit client and internal communications, content, to ensure quality and branding compliance
• Communicate with coworkers, management, clients and others in a professional manner; build and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES :

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
• Proposal experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite and Adobe
• Strong organizational, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail
• Database aptitude to include proposal setup, file management and report processing (SharePoint, Deltek VantagePoint, etc.).
• Detail and client multi-tasker adept at managing deadlines.
• Professional services marketing experience in AEC industry a plus

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, marketing, business or related field

3 to 5 years of proposal coordination experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use, typing, filing, lifting and organization.

May require occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Local travel to various worksites may be required.
