Mental Edge Counseling, LLC is an outpatient mental health office based in Dover, DE. We provide services to include individual, family, child and adolescent, group, and marriage counseling as well as medication management. Mental Edge Counseling, LLC has developed a reputation as an established and trusted outpatient mental health office. Mental Edge Counseling is also associated directly with a Neurofeedback / Biofeedback clinic and mental health non-profit both located in the same building - extending our impact and resources to offer our clients and team members.

We are looking to fill a recently vacated Marketing & Outreach Coordinator position. This position will start as a 90-day contractual type position to determine fit and satisfaction for both parties. After 90-days, if both parties agree, a FT position will be offered with benefits. Please keep reading for more information.

As a Mental Edge Counseling, LLC (MEC) Marketing & Outreach Coordinator,

your job responsibilities would include:

• Management of multiple social media accounts across various platforms
• Upkeep on current websites as well as the creation of an e-commerce site fit for the mental health field
• Work with the VP of Business Operations to create an e-commerce store and potential video platform for the Mental Health field
• Provide detailed analytics and reports for both social media and website traffic
• Optimize website SEO as necessary
• Management / creation of advertisement campaigns 
• Blog posts, newsletters, mail, and other forms of written communication between facility and clients / staff
• Utilize the adobe suite to graphically design assets for various forms of media (web, logo, products, signage, advertising, etc)
• Plan, shoot, and edit video productions for various reasons within company (training, advertising, product showcase, etc)
• Working with a DSLR camera to capture various moments of all companies and minor editing skills to enhance photos for social media or marketing purposes
• Foster strong relations with surrounding community members, businesses, and organizations
• Work with VP of Business Operations to plan internal and external events relating to the marketing / outreach position
• Work with various team members to plan involvement in bigger marketing events (such as Firefly or local school events)
• Anything else that would fall under a typical marketing / outreach position.

Qualifications

• Experience in the visual communications / multi-media field
• Experience in the marketing field (preferred)
• Experience in e-commerce (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with the Adobe Suite
• Experience with a DSLR camera (photo & video)
• A self starter who is proactive, extremely organized, and results driven
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow through on all steps of multiple, complex tasks.

Requirements

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Degree in the Visual Communications, Multi-Media, Entrepreneurial, or Marketing field (preferred but not required)

Experience Requirements

Understanding & Experience with the Adobe Suite

Understanding & Experience with the general rules of design, photography, videography, and marketing

Experience in e-commerce (preferred)

Experience in video production, YouTube, & video marketing (preferred)
