Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Communication Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Communication Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Beverages Communication Brand Marketing Associate will champion and own growth, profit, and share for our Global Brand business by leading the mining of consumer insights that create a sustainable competitive advantage. In this role, you will be responsible for the Beverages brands communication strategy and execution, availing every consumer facing moment. A high sense of curiosity, collaboration and urgency across sales, consumer insights, OMNI/shopper marketing and finance will be the keys to success. Strong financial and budget skills are strongly preferred

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop a strong understanding of foundational tools across the portfolio and ensure relevance of the beverages brand’s identity, essence, vision, mission, and core values
    • Obsess over consumers’ enduring motivations, cultural context, and the business landscape; leverages marketplace data and trends to more deeply understand behavioral drivers of our categories’ consumers and/or a particular consumer segment
    • Design personalized consumer experiences and tell compelling stories wherever and whenever content is consumed by leveraging global and affiliates assets; brings the purpose of our brands to life with breakthrough creative in service of unlocking business growth
    • Produce continuous growth out of total demand generation dollars; pursue new breakthrough ideas and refreshes our brands for the modern era in both creative expression and media mix
    • Work with internal teams and external creative / media agencies to develop marketing strategies and plans
    • Execute best-in-class strategy and win the sale in an omni-channel environment; understands how to maximize the business at retail and collaborates to deliver results
    • Manage projects on time and on budget as well as exhibits decision-making abilities around investment alternatives that mitigate risk and maximize return

    Requirements and Minimum Education Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in consumer marketing, brand management or product management; OR a Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, MBA or related field and 2 years of related work experience is required
    • Experience leveraging trends and formal data to generate insights to understand consumer behavior, syndicated data knowledge strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability and initiative to drive cross-functional teams to deliver on collective brand goals
    • Basic financial acumen and the understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions

    Preferred Experience:
    • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry (CPG) is preferred
    • Experience developing strategic brand/product plans, such as commercialization strategies and long-term demand planning is preferred
    • Experience leading x-functional teams is preferred
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
    • MBA is a plus
