Marketing Communication Director directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Director builds cross-functional relationships with organizational stakeholders to understand products, customers, and industry and develop a focused communication program. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Job Summary | The Stuckert Career Center is actively seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Student Assistant for both the Fall and Spring terms during the 2024-2025 academic year. This position presents a unique opportunity for individuals eager to cultivate skills in marketing, digital design, communications, and customer relationship management, all while gaining a profound understanding of student career development at the University of Kentucky. As a vital member of the Stuckert Career Center team, the Marketing & Communications Student Assistant will acquire practical, hands-on experience through active participation in career events, campus hospitality initiatives, and comprehensive support for the Career Center. The role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, providing exposure to various activities, including but not limited to:
In addition to the specified duties, the Marketing & Communications Student Assistant may be assigned additional responsibilities to ensure the overall success of the Stuckert Career Center such as checking students in, answering phones, processing emails, routing questions, providing resources, running errands, filing, and assisting staff.
