Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Director explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee planning for trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops budgets and internal and external resources for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Marketing Communication Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Responsibilities

    As a Communication and Marketing Strategist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission, vision and values while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

    1. Strategic Planning and Project Management: Collaborate with the Senior Director and the Communications and Marketing team to develop and support a variety of projects. Utilize your strong writing and strategic planning skills to enhance on-going and special initiatives to support leaders, employees, partners and patients to guide employees and teams, ensuring expectations and deadlines are not just met but exceeded.
    2. Communication and Marketing Programs: Implement effective communication and marketing programs that convey organizational priorities, promote standardization, and enhance our professional image. Your role will involve writing and editing key information for various media and presentations as well as national level support for the Business Development team.
    3. Collaboration and Support: Serve as a partner to CommonSpirit Health at Home departments and service lines, developing and executing program-specific communication plans and strategies. Act as a liaison and partner for marketing and external communication initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive engagement and awareness. Collaborate with executive leadership as a special project manager to support all Board of Directors activities.
    4. Digital Presence and Social Media: Support all company websites, develop content, implement updates; and support CMS management to enhance audience engagement and brand awareness. Take an active role in managing social media platforms, partnering with the Digital Communication Specialist to create dynamic content, address inquiries, establish goals, track metrics and maintain a positive online presence.
    5. Content Development and Publications: Conduct thorough fact-checking, research, and copy development to meet the specific needs of communication and marketing requests. Contribute to the development and publication of company newsletters, ensuring timely and professional distribution of information.
    6. Brand Standards and Communication Methods: Uphold communication and brand standards, ensuring consistency across all platforms and service lines. Constantly explore, recommend, and optimize communication methods, vehicles, and technologies to engage with diverse audiences.
    7. Leadership Summit and Company Initiatives: Provide communication and logistic support for the annual Leadership Summit and other company initiatives. Serve as the point of contact for sponsorships and sponsor relations. Be an integral
    part of events that promote collaboration, innovation, and positive engagement within the organization.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
    • Proven experience in strategic communication, project management, and content development.
    • Five years experience required; health care a plus.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple, compelling messages.
    • Familiarity with digital communication platforms, social media management, and CMS.
    • Detail-oriented, creative thinker; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
