- Shift 1 (United States of America) 75% Travel. Up to 15% bonus, company credit card! Position Summary: The Field service technician will provide repairs to parts, tools, and equipment and provide quality installations, maintenance, and repairs to equipment to support business operations at customer locations. The position requires troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components as well as circuits. Work You’ll Do: Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment including electrical. Support and correspond with customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs. Provide a high level of communication with both Customer and Office. Provide repairs to parts, tools, and equipment Prepares and sets up equipment, parts, or products Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Open skids, crates and other containers. Wear the proper safety equipment. Prepares reports as needed Provides advisory support and assistance to the department manager as needed. Responsible for meeting team targets and key performance indicators Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary including weekends and holidays if deemed Travel required up to 75% of the time Other duties as assigned by management Team: This role will be a part of Field Service Team Basic Qualifications: Technical and mechanical knowledge & aptitude Proven Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical component skills/knowledge Troubleshooting experience required Manual dexterity Ability to read and follow instructions in manuals Must be able to operate a forklift, manlift, pallet jack Machining and welding skills Ability to read mechanical blueprint and electrical schematics. Must have and maintain a good driving record No fear of heights Must manage time well Good analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: 5 years in repair desired Minimum of an associate degree in industrial Electricity, Electronic Engineering technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
