A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Market Research Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. We’ve conducted customized research studies for an array of industries and clientele for 40 years, building our reputation on complex research design, creative problem-solving, and timely delivery of information. Our team of research experts collects and delivers insights to high-profile clients to guide business strategy and execute data-driven decisions. With a team of 100 across multiple locations, we complete over 500 studies per year.

    POSITION PURPOSE: Act as support for Account Executives through project management, data analysis, and reporting to ensure research deliverables to our clients. The functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

    Oversee quantitative and qualitative market research projects from start to finish, including troubleshooting problems and providing guidance and solutions.

    • Manage tasks and timelines for multiple projects through all stages of the research process.
    • Proactively seek information needed to fully understand project requirements, accurately assess potential obstacles, and formulate successful action plans.
    • Provide direction and support for internal and external teams involved in various stages of each project.
    • Communicate with internal and external teams, including clients, vendors, Account Executives, programmers and field staff to execute projects cost-effectively.
    • Motivate various team members to produce under aggressive deadlines.
    • Write, edit, and proofread documents such as presentations, questionnaires, reports, graphs, and proposals.
    • Assist with analysis and reporting in various formats.
    • Create insightful visual elements to illustrate research findings (e.g. charts and infographics)
    • Test web and mobile surveys for functionality, spelling/grammar, and accuracy.
    • Demonstrate willingness to assist other team members at all levels to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • College-level coursework on the topics of research methodology and/or professional market research experience.
    • Aptitude for keeping projects on track and within budget.
    • Maintain a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Acutely attentive to detail and deadlines
    • Ability to conduct quality assurance on various project deliverables and ensure they are aligned with client research objectives.
    • Outstanding business writing and editing skills.
    • Knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative data interpretation.
    • Organizational and time management skills; ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Sound judgment and the ability to ask for direction when necessary and give feedback appropriately.
    • Ability and willingness to work over 40 hours per week when project deadlines require.
    • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Creative problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with the team.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences, business, mathematics, statistics, marketing, or related field.
    • Experience managing market research projects (design, data collection, analysis, etc.) either in a vendor- or client-side position, or as part of an internship or coursework.
    • Proficiency in data analysis solutions (SPSS or similar).
    • Knowledge of B2B and B2C technology solutions, including an understanding of which products are available, their related terminology, and how they are sold (sales channels).

    BENEFITS/SALARY:

    Salary Range is $60K-$80K depending on experience.

    This is primarily an in-office position, although limited remote work may be available upon approval.
