Market Research Supervisor jobs in New York
Market Research Supervisor supervises activities in the market research department. Ensures appropriate use of analytic techniques to determine demand for products and services. Being a Market Research Supervisor interprets and predicts consumer trends, formulates research and development proposals, and monitors research projects. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Market Research Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Day-to-Day:
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimate costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required based on contract drawings.
- Review plans, specifications, addenda and documentation to determine scope of work.
- Obtain pricing form subcontractors when necessary for trades including but not limited to: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, masonry, flooring, millwork.
- Participate in Scope Review meetings with clients prior to award.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience as a Drywall Estimator.
- Experience with Microsoft programs.
- Experience with BlueBeam.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,080.58 - $81,989.52 per year
