Market Research Supervisor supervises activities in the market research department. Ensures appropriate use of analytic techniques to determine demand for products and services. Being a Market Research Supervisor interprets and predicts consumer trends, formulates research and development proposals, and monitors research projects. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Market Research Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Position Description
A Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a specific department, shift, including scheduling of employees to assure production schedules are met.
A Supervisor must have a working knowledge of the duties of the Leadman or Leadmen in his department or location.
The Supervisor must assist with employee selection, job training and development and must address employee performance, safety and health issues and other issues which may require disciplinary action.
Education, Experience, Required Skills
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the CNC Machining Industry and five (5) years supervisory experience in associated manufacturing
. Good math and measurement skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.49 per hour
