Position Overview
The KU School of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Area has coordinated with PROOF to provide a business student internship opportunity as a Market Research Analyst.
The Market Research Analyst position requires strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a high detail orientation. This position will be responsible for a variety of support roles to help PROOF. This role can be virtual or hybrid. This internship position could grow into a permanent position.
This is a part-time position, up to 10 hours per week, until a minimum of 120 hours is achieved. This position will start late March and continue until the end of the fall 2024 semester. The Market Research Analyst position can be remote or hybrid and will report to both the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programs and the ENTR 450 Instructor, both at the University of Kansas School of Business. This position is contingent on funding.
PROOF, a growing start-up company, conducts market research which specializes in measuring emotions. PROOF’s market research approach helps clients detect what they are missing and obtain answers to the questions that are restricting the clients from making money tomorrow and keeping their organization from moving forward.

- Quickly finding and analyzing the meaning in a given sentence

Calendar scheduling

Social media and content repurposing

Booking and completing speaker requests, podcasts, and article placements

Cleaning up newsletter database and helping to manage contact lists in CRM
Required Qualifications
- Must be a KU student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours

Demonstrated evidence of coachability, time management, and/or self-leadership skills based on application materials.

Evidence of strong communication skills and high attention to details based on application materials.
During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students.
