Must have knowledge and experience to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain various electrical systems, controls and equipment either on board vessels or in shipyard facilities. An electrician must be familiar with IEEE45 rules and regulations pertaining to shipboard power, distribution and control wiring involving the proper installation of AC and DC circuits and devices.
Must have 5 years of experience in marine electrical field.
Must have tools of the trade.
