Responsibilities:
- Ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget.
- Ability to work with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a courteous and tactful manner
- Moves and secures lumber products and other materials
- Secures all job materials to the trucks, trailers, and boat.
- Follows instructions for building and installing products that meet quality standards.
- Assist other work areas moving, loading, and unloading materials
- Practices all safety procedures on job sites
- Follows all boating laws and regulations on the lake and river
Skills and Abilities:
- Prefer at least 2-3 years of welding experience or carpentry experience
- Recognize the different size/grade/quality of material
- Demonstrate the ability to use and operate hand and power tools
- Experience pulling a 30' trailer and/or heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of general construction operations
- Ability to pay attention to surroundings and weather conditions
- Ability to identify equipment malfunctions and report items that need to be fixed/replaced
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a clean driving record with no traffic violations in the last 3 years
- Must pass a physical and drug test
- Have a clean background with no felonies on record.
