Responsibilities and Duties:
- The major role of our support staff is to assist the Lead Scientist in conducting various lessons and activities.
- Support Staff team members are expected to teach regularly throughout the season.
- The Support Staff will be responsible for the upkeep and handling of site supplies.
- Staffers must also be prepared to work with program attendees independently if needed.
Availability and Locations:
- Our programs will be running from mid-June through early September. Candidates must be available mid-late August.
- Required participation for the entirety of our programs, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm. We are unable to offer housing at this time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in marine science or a closely related field is preferred.
- Previous scientific field, research, or teaching experience.
- Ability to lead and implement program activities in a variable outdoor setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passionate about marine sciences and conservation.
