Manufacturing Inspection Technician A well-respected company in Cantonment, FL, is looking for a full-time manufacturing inspection technician to join its team.

What you’ll be doing to make an impact :

• Responsible for inspection of produced material
• Assist in the operation of the production lines' winders
• May also be utilized to assist in the Converting Department
• Must safely and efficiently operate various machinery, ensure products meet customer expectations, and assist in identifying and resolving equipment issues
• Required to safely move and store materials

What you’ll bring to the table :

• High school diploma.
• Successful completion of the initial 90-day probationary period.
• 1 or more years of recent experience in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, and construction-related fields. Trade school and / or positions held requiring mechanical aptitude.
• Safe and efficient operation of all inspection machinery.
• Removal of manufacturing defects based on the output of the camera inspection system and visual inspection.
• Ensure material is produced to meet internal width standards and customer requirements.
• Demonstrates good judgment, and is perceptive in evaluating situations.
• Communicates clearly.
• Team player who recognizes the need for interaction with key stakeholders and is open to suggestions and change.
• Can manage effectively through conflicting priorities and make difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions while maintaining composure.
• Requires minimum supervision, is a self-starter, and can work independently with limited guidance.
