Manufacturing Manager jobs in Norman, OK
Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Manufacturing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Requirements
Experience With:
1. Maintaining ISO 9001:2015 system requirements.
2. Print interpretation.
3. Background work in PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA and Process Capability tools.
4. Corrective Action Problem Solving using Root Cause analysis, implementation, and verification activities.
Responsibilities
Work with associate teams and external auditors to maintain work instructions and forms for products or processes which meet all internal and external system requirements.
Leadership assistance with PPAP team organization for final customer submissions, including FMEA.
Train and supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff to provide guidance and feedback.
Assist in product development teams.
Inspect and audit process outputs for comparison to requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation/records and perform/train basic statistical analysis.
Management Review.
Identify LEAN opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
