Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The Role:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance and facilities management of the plant; supervises all service activities to maintain buildings, grounds, machinery; drives continuous improvements in production, quality, and safety while driving improvement through the framework of the Business System (EBS). Will be leader for operational as well as strategic activities to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly by taking actions that align with strategic goals.
