Manufacturing Manager plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Manufacturing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. HPM Building Supply in Keaau, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time HalePlus Manufacturing Specialist to save the day by working with a team to efficiently produce high-quality modular units.
Working with various hand tools and manufacturing machines, the HalePlus Manufacturing Specialist is committed to safety, teamwork, and delivering products to customer specifications.
The typical schedule for this HalePlus Manufacturing Specialist position :
Monday-Thursday, 5 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm with NO WEEKENDS!
Some overtime on Fridays may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 65 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Previous construction experience is highly preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, twist, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time
