Responsibilities – Manufacturing Engineer
- Directly support the manufacturing team to ensure that the production processes and unit operations are run at optimum conditions
- Recommend process improvements to increase yield, increase productivity, improve quality and reduce waste
- Monitor overall process operations and develop solutions to various technical problems by applying mechanical engineering and lean manufacturing principles, theory, and concepts
- Active participant in APQP & FMEA.
- Participate in efforts involving concurrent design for manufacturability and alternative process technologies
Experience and skillset – Manufacturing Engineer
- Degree in Engineering – preferably Mechanical Engineering (relevant work experience will be considered)
- 3 - 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment
- Automotive experience
- Stamp, Plate, Mold, Assembly (a plus)
