Manufacturing Engineer assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes for a production facility. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Being a Manufacturing Engineer determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Manufacturing Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Summary: Hiring a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on electro-mechanical systems to serve as the technical link between Engineering and Operations.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering Technology with electro-mechanical emphasis.
1-3 years of experience in electronics/electro-mechanical field.
Successful completion of certified IPC Specialist Training Course.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing job shop environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage prototype builds and release to manufacturing process.
Analyze customer returns, identify root cause and implement corrective action.
Manage the FAIR process.
Supervise product technicians and maintenance staff.
Assist Engineering as the technical conduit to Operations.
Act as 1st line resource to Production Manufacturing for technical issues.
Establish product rest protocols & fixtures per product/customer requirements.
Maintain database of test equipment and production test fixtures.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
