Job Description
Zeeco is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering position to office in Broken Arrow with the ability to efficiently analyze, design and implement processes, and/or equipment to increase capacity, productivity/efficiency and/or otherwise reduce overall manufacturing costs. Identify, justify, and coordinate the implementation of manufacturing and/or facility capital improvement projects for multiple sites.
Job Duties:
Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and layout of equipment for maximum workflow efficiency.
Driving projects to a defined milestone schedule from conception to completion.
Confers with suppliers to determine product specifications and negotiate arrangements for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
Hands on technical analysis of equipment and define project plan requirements for capital projects including all relevant documentation.
Identify and implement improvements to reduce manufacturing time/cost by recommending/helping initiate "best practices".
Performing hands-on manufacturing engineering for industrial processes
Improving production through implementation of new processes and equipment
Acting as the technical liaison with foreign and domestic colleagues
Confers with manufacturing and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Define and document process flows, which include writing and maintaining fabrication, assembly, process, and test instructions.
Effective use of root cause analysis to eliminate issues
Removal of waste through the rigorous application of various Lean manufacturing tools.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial preferred)
Demonstrated aptitude for and experience with mechanical design and fabrication processes
Project Management skills required
Expertise in the successful selection justification, and installation of capital equipment
5 years relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Prior experience working in a team-based environment
Demonstrated analytical skills
Lean training/experience
Experience in an ISO-certified environment
Proficient in basic application software systems (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Willingness to travel approximately 10 percent of time, both domestically and internationally
Proficient in CAD (Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCad)
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
