Description:
Our client has a project scoped for 12 months at the Randleman facility. They’re being asked by leadership to develop a solution to drive throughput in the plant as they’re expecting to double in production going into next year. The ME team is being tasked with leading this project where the ultimate goal is to identify “how are we going to get there?” This facility is the primary source for all weldments and powerblock (3 engines or more) that go into a microgrid solution. 100,000 sq feet facility. 6 main processes, parts weld paint, aluminum, inventory, test, etc. We're seeking a level 2 (4-8 years of experience).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with best Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
• Study production process and machines requirements
• Collect process and product data to analyze and identify trends and areas of opportunities and strategies for improvement
• Creation and training on standard work
• Develop and design new tools and/or equipment that will help with process efficiency
• Determine and implement Facility/Cell Layouts
• Use lean and brainstorming tools such as Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, VSMs, Gap Analysis, Fish Bone Analysis, etc.
• Lead and manage more complex and technical projects. Present to upper management the project’s results and cost
• Collaborate with other engineers, production supervisors, suppliers, etc.
