Summary:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for the continuous improvements of plant support equipment and production process optimization. This will include assessing the facility's system capacities, revising P&ID’s and plant layouts, and developing project proposals to optimize critical operational systems. This position will lead and oversee internal and external teams to achieve operational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Abide by, enforce and participate fully in the implementation and ongoing oversight of all company safety standards and regulations.
Perform system evaluations, develop proposals, implement plans, and establish quantifiable metrics that demonstrate improvements in operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable processes and systems.
Develop and present plant layout designs.
Support manufacturing with root cause and corrective action of process failures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze data for problem solving, validation, and identification of improvement opportunities.
Use simulation tools to perform "what-if" analysis to support planning for the impact of changes in operations.
Provide a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering, or related field from four-year college or university; and 10 years of experience in relevant engineering role, or any combination of education, experience and training. Experience with statistical process control; project management, initiating and issuing RFP’s, contract management; leading project teams and large projects; updating and designing plant layouts and P&ID’s using AutoCAD is highly desired.

Effective motivator who can engage a diverse group of associates (operators to directors) in the problem-solving process.
High level of competency in obtaining, analyzing, applying and presenting data to educate and influence, leveraging tools such as databases, spreadsheets and other business systems and software.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and shifts if requested, including weekends and nights to support the business.
