Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an accomplished Director of Manufacturing to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Lead manufacturing operations for the Petersburg Insulin program, ensuring accountability in a matrix environment
2) Provide manufacturing leadership to uphold the Company mission, values, and culture at the site
3) Demonstrate expertise in manufacturing equipment and processes, including aseptic filling, isolator/RABs technology, terminal sterilisation, and packaging
4) Implement manufacturing shifts and support models for the Insulin programme aligned with site and company plans
5) Support facility and equipment design, construction, process development and validation, and qualification
6) Establish performance and development plans for department staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
7) Set manufacturing goals, milestones, objectives, and key performance metrics
8) Mentor and coach Manufacturing personnel in Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies and change management for timely project completion with expected results
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in manufacturing
