About the Role
The Director of Manufacturing is responsible for the leadership and execution of Phantom Space’s manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain/procurement functions. The Director ensures the effective and efficient use of facilities and staff to meet company and customer deadlines for Phantom’s growth and a dynamic space transportation economy. The Director of Manufacturing works collaboratively with launch system (flight and ground systems) design engineers, spacecraft design engineers, test and launch teams, and company business functions to ensure the cost-effective and on-time delivery of highly quality hardware.

This position requires compliance with U.S. Government space technology trade restrictions, specifically the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and additional regulations governing satellite, launch vehicle, missile, and other related technologies.
