BayLegal’s Napa Office: Our Napa office team is currently three attorneys and an advocate office manager who provide services to low-income individuals and families living in Napa County. Our Napa team, with the support of advocates from throughout the firm, provide services in the substantive practice areas of housing preservation and homelessness prevention (including eviction defense and preservation of subsidized housing), inter-personal violence prevention and intervention (including the full range of family law and immigration relief), and economic justice advocacy. Our Napa team is based in our office in downtown Napa and provides services from our office and on-site at community partners throughout the county, including the Monarch Family Justice Center and UpValley Family Resource Center.
Position: BayLegal seeks an attorney with a demonstrated commitment to public interest and social justice to become the Managing Attorney (MA) of our Napa County Regional Office. As a member of BayLegal's senior management team, you will report to the General Counsel and work in collaboration with BayLegal's Executive Director, Directors, Managing Attorneys and Regional Counsels, and staff throughout the firm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
HYBRID WORK OPTION: BayLegal is committed to the health and safety of our staff, clients, and community. BayLegal employees are expected to work on-site and in-person at a BayLegal office or community-based advocacy site at least three (3) days per week and may work remotely from home on a part-time basis. Employees are expected to reside in California and at a distance allowing them to commute to their physical BayLegal base location, and to other service delivery locations as needed, during the standard work week.
Compensation and Benefits: We offer a diverse, family friendly environment, and compensation based on competitive public interest salaries along with a generous benefits package. The estimated annual salary range is $120k - 153k (placement in range determined primarily by years of related experience).
