Being a Managing Attorney directs law office operations, case assignments, and staffing. Oversees the activities and work products of subordinate attorneys. Additionally, Managing Attorney monitors case status, timelines, and issues. Mentors and coaches attorneys and implements staff professional development programs. Requires a JD. Requires State Bar membership. Typically reports to top legal executive. The Managing Attorney manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Managing Attorney typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. The DYADlaw Managing/Senior Attorney will be a passionate advocate for Immigration and Immigrant Rights. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of areas of immigration law, including but not limited to all non-immigrant visas, humanitarian visas, consular processing, waivers, representing clients before USCIS interviews and EOIR court hearings, and all federal litigation and appellate work.
Compensation:$150,000 - $175,000 yearly bonuses
