Managed Care Provider Relations Manager develops, manages, and sustains relationship with members of physician network of managed care service providers. Recruits new physicians and manages the credentialing and orientation process. Being a Managed Care Provider Relations Manager serves as a resource for physicians, answering questions and providing information about network procedures or contracts. Monitors provider performance and resolves any issues. Additionally, Managed Care Provider Relations Manager reviews billings and claims payments according to managed care contracts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department. The Managed Care Provider Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Managed Care Provider Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our goal is to improve the overall quality of care, patient outcomes, quality of life, refine facility processes, and enhance patient relationships.  


    LTC provides Primary Care Physician (PCP) services to SNF-LTC facilities across Michigan.  


    LTC is seeking dedicated Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) to join our team as Primary-Care Providers.


    We are happy to consider new graduates!


    Job Structure

    • This is an in-person position
    • Providers will commute directly between home and their assigned facility
    • APPs work in coordination with an LTC Collaborating Physician
    • APP is responsible for the day-to-day care of their patients within the facility
    • After-Hours on-call is shared among all LTC Providers (currently a 15-week rotation)
    • Standard Monday-Friday 8a-5p workday

    Employment Type

    • Full-Time
    • 40-45 hours per week

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics is strongly preferred.
    • Candidates must hold a valid and unrestricted APP medical license in Michigan.  
    • Candidates must hold a valid DEA license in the state of Michigan.
    • Candidates must have completed a valid U.S. APP certification program
    • Candidates must have completed an approved APP course of study from an accredited institution
    • Candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment background screening process (Criminal History, Licensing, etc.)
    • Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug-screen 


    Compensation and Benefits 

    • Competitive compensation package:
      • Compensation ranges from annually 110k-115k based on experience
      • RVU-Quality Bonuses based on work RVUs
      • Quality Bonuses paid quarterly
      • 15 PTO days annually
      • $2,500 Annual CME allowance plus 3 PTO days to use for CME attendance
      • Company paid subscription to “Up To Date”, both mobile and laptop
      • Monthly phone stipend
      • All medical licensure expenses reimbursed by the Practice
