This is a full-time 40 hour a week position.
THE POSITION:
The primary responsibilities of the Development Officer, Major Gifts requires a comprehensive understanding of and background in major gifts fundraising principles and practices, a high level of professionalism, collegiality, self-motivation and a strong belief in the mission and principles of the MSPCA – Angell. The Development Officer, Major Gifts will possess the ability to work collaboratively with the Development team and all of the other departments of MSPCA –Angell, including veterinary staff and volunteer leadership.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least three years of experience of successful major gift fundraising. As this position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, we require applicants to include a cover letter showcasing writing skills.
