Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The Leadership Annual Gifts Officer (LAGO) plays an integral role in developing and implementing the annual giving strategy for University Advancement. Annual giving allows donors to express their loyalty and builds a pipeline for major giving to the university. Specific responsibilities for the LAGO include navigating donor prospects and donors through the donor cycle - identification, cultivation, solicitation, closure, and stewardship. The Leadership Annual Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of assigned donors, as well as a discovery list. The LAGO will use email, phone, video conferencing, and personal visits to develop relationships with donors and donor prospects resulting in new or increased support to the university.
