Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Philco Building Maintenance is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
We provide maintenance services for commercial businesses such as carpentry, painting, landscaping, electrical, plumbing and portering. We service 60 commercial properties throughout Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano Counties.
We work full-time, Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Overtime work available for those you are interested. Each Technician is assigned a route that includes 5-10 properties. At these properties, the technician is in charge of inspecting and performing routine preventative maintenance on both the inside and the outside.We provide a great place to work! You'll want to show up and give it your best self everyday, we promise. We will reward you, give you a break, make sure you are covered and allow you to crush it!!!!
Qualifications:- Previous experience with various trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, concrete, etc.
- Previous experience with commercial properties a plus.
- Ability to handle physical workload; indoor and outdoors
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Requirements:
- A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI's in last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have own tools and vehicle (reimbursed for business mileage).
