Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Job Requirements:
Summary: Responsible for participating in the development and administration of development plans, ordinances, and policies relating to the maintenance and enhancement of the physical and social development effects of the City. Includes coordinating the City’s current and long-range planning functions, land use management, zoning and development review.
Experience: One or more years of professional planning experience working in municipal, county or regional government community development/planning department or similar private sector experience is desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in community planning, geography or a related field.
