About this position:
This is a Systems Administration Technician position working as a Mainframe Systems Programmer who will assist in the support of the mainframe Enterprise Server environment for the State of Missouri, which is based on the IBM z/OS operating system. This position will also assist in the administration and support of various mainframe systems and third-party software products with an emphasis on RACF security and CICS support.
A successful candidate in this position needs to have a technical background in IT, good communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Any candidate must also be able to work effectively in a team setting, as well as independently when the circumstances dictate it.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) working in the State Data Center (SDC).
