THE OPPORTUNITY
Dillard’s is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Database Administrator with a positive attitude and a drive to learn and collaborate. As a DBA, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the installation, configuration, uptime, performance, and backup & recovery of all support databases within the company. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally and be challenged daily while learning several database platforms and supporting Dillard’s eCommerce site. You’ll also get the opportunity to work alongside a great group of DBAs, as well as regularly interact and collaborate with the other IT teams on assignments, making a difference for our business.
THE TEAM
This role is on our Mainframe and Unix Database Administration team, which supports hundreds of databases for applications utilized by all areas of our retail business (Store personnel, Apparel buyers, Fulfillment staff, HR, Accounting, Executives, and much more). As a new member of our team, you will have a mentor who will help you become acclimated to Dillard's business strategy as it relates to your role.
