MAILROOM SUPERVISOR jobs in Richmond, VA

Position Responsibilities:

• Making mail deliveries to various VCU Libraries departments

• Using a mail van to make daily mail deliveries between Cabell Library on the Monroe Park campus and the Health Sciences Library on the MCV campus.

• Shipping and receiving books and other materials

• Light facilities maintenance and upkeep 

• Perform minor furniture repair

• Assists with set up for events

• Minor painting and patching of the library facility

• Monitor and refill sanitizer wipe dispensers.

• Communicates with professionalism with all levels of VCU Libraries employees.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia driver’s license

• Ability to operate a mail van

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Must adhere to university-related COVID-19 standards

Preferred Qualifications 

• Demonstrates experience with workshop and safety skills using hand and power tools.

Salary Range: $15- $16
