We are looking for a talented Server Administrator excited to use your Linux and/or automation experience in supporting the organization. You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment while still respecting your work/life balance.   

 A Server Administrator with MidwayUSA will support systems, domain servers, system security and assist with process and system improvement.   

In This Role, You Will   

• Work with your team to manage virtual infrastructure, and ongoing system administration and automation
• Collaborate with your team and members of the department to support and solve product and services issues in the data center’s physical and virtual systems
• Maintain and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity
• Assist with System backups and recovery
• Develop, train, and maintain departmental processes and documentation as it pertains to systems and servers

About You   

• Will possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, related technical discipline, or appropriate experience
• Will have demonstrated continual learning, such as VMware certification or equivalent certification programs
• Are passionate about technology and a Company Culture that values honesty, teamwork and respect for others
• Have a minimum of 5 years of System Administration experience preferred.
• Will possess a working knowledge and experience with Linux based OS in an enterprise environment
• Will possess a working knowledge of infrastructure automation, python or equivalent scripting, with continuous deployment and containerization experience preferred
• Will have an in-depth knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to System Administration, Infrastructure Automation, and system and service performance monitoring
