Job Summary:

The Senior SQL Server Administrator will develop, manage, and support all aspects of the enterprise.  The enterprise SQL platform includes multiple database clusters and individual SQL servers stored on SAN architecture. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise SQL clusters using Server 2016 and SQL 2017
• Analyze, upgrade and improve current high availability instances
• Provide support for current SQL 2008 and 2012 instances
• Plan and oversee the consolidation and migration of older databases to new instances
• Document SQL policies and procedures
• Work with customers to determine database needs, plan and deploy new databases
• Provide guidance to regional database administrators
• Support non SQL database instances as necessary
• MS SQL Server systems hosted on a virtual VMware platform

Experience:

Must have:

• 5 years experience with MS SQL Server as a DBA
• 5 years experience with SQL Clusters
• 3 years experience with High Availability Environments
• Experience with Oracle databases is preferred
