Mail Clerk receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. Duties:
- Receive and process incoming shipments/mail for customers
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in an efficient manner
- Pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in shipping and receiving
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and measuring
- Ability to load and unload heavy items, up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control and efficient storage practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
