Keystone Turbine Services, a division of Precision Aviation Group, is a leader in the MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) industry for general aviation aircraft.  Our facility is located in Coatesville, PA and has an opening in our Machine Shop.  This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong hands on experience to get into the aviation industry. 

The Machinist will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to produce a reliable, quality, airworthy product at a reasonable cost and optimum turn time while providing the highest quality of workmanship for all work accomplished.  Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.

Essential Functions include:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production.
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments.

Ideal candidates will offer:

1.       Job shop machinist with a minimum of (5) years-experience

2.       Must possess a full understanding and hands-on experience with manual lathes, manual milling machines and related machine shop equipment

3.       Strong mathematical skills

4.       Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude

5.       Proficient in the use of micrometers, Vernier calipers and indicators

6.       This is a primarily standing position at least 80% of the day.  Must be able to push/pull at least 50lbs., ability to reach above, bend over and carry at least 30 lbs.
