Machine Tool Cutting Operator/Tender jobs in Lawrence, KS

Job Summary

Currently seeking motivated individuals to work as a laborer with the potential to be a saw operator.

Responsibilities are (but not limited to):

*Loading and unloading equipment

* Setting up and cleaning up job sites

* Maintaining equipment

* Maintaining cleanliness of shop and company vehicles

* Working safely, complying with all safety policies and procedures

* Following directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site

Work Requirements:

* MUST possess a VALID Driver's License with good driving record

* Be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and criminal background check

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis

* Able to stand for long periods of time

* Ability to pass a DOT Physical

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Display a professional and courteous attitude at all times

Education/Experience:

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Previous related experience in construction field is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
