Machine Tool Cutting Operator/Tender jobs in Arizona

Liberty Awnings and Shades is a valley wide leader in sun and wind protection that has been in business for 20 years.

We are looking for a career minded individual to come join our team as a shop assistant.

· Must be able to pass physical lift test & drug test (Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds with another person)

· Clean driving record

· Read production plans

· Uses bandsaw and chop saw

· Read a tape measure

· Manually measure components to cut to exact measurements.

· Assist Shop Foreman

· Operating band saw, table saw, and various other shop equipment

Hours: M-F, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Starting Pay: $18, with a 90 day review.

Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance after 60 days. 1 week paid vacation after 2 years

Physical Requirements:

Must have good balance. Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to bend to grab items at and below ground level and above head, sometimes working on a ladder. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be experienced and skilled working with hand and power tools such as drills, screw guns and saws. Must have good corrected vision. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure and perform the operations with common and decimal fractions and using common measuring tools.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
