Machine Shop Production Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of operating machines that perform a variety of processing operations. Supervises assembly operations such as filing, aligning, fitting, and scraping of parts to ensure established requirements and standards are met. Being a Machine Shop Production Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have valid Drivers License for last 3 years.
Must be able to read a tape measure.Min 2-3 years’ experience in warehouse management
Glazing Industry back ground a plus
Computer literateOrganizational skills
Able to manage inventory controls
Familiar with OSHA requirements
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and able to qualify to operate a company vehicle.
- (DMV printout will be required when applying for the position).
- Ability to read/speak/write in English and communicate with employees and customers.
- Must have a safe, friendly and professional attitude when communicating with customers and operating a company vehicle.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be required to safely handle, load and secure various types and sizes of Products manufactured in our Reno, Nevada Facility. (Glass, Organizer Material, Wardrobe Doors, etc).
