Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of metalworking machines to shape castings and forgings or products by removing excess material by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Computes amounts of time required for operations, based on production schedules. Inspects and measures metal products to verify conformance to company standards. Directs workers in inspection and quarantine of products that fail to meet standards. Studies production schedules and estimates individual worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for workers, and assigns duties
