Machine Shop Production Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of operating machines that perform a variety of processing operations. Supervises assembly operations such as filing, aligning, fitting, and scraping of parts to ensure established requirements and standards are met. Being a Machine Shop Production Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Greet and serve each customer
- Understand our full product line
- Operate all stations (coffee/espresso, bagel, cashier, cake writing, etc..)
- Cash handling skills and a thorough understanding of the POS system
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work Nights and weekends
- Must have demonstrated experience as a shift lead or trainer
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Able to stand, sit squat and bend for up to 8 hours per day
