Key Responsibilities
Manages the Montana based plastic and metals machining center which supports Applied Materials business units with precision parts
Establishes project schedules, timelines, and controls, while monitoring production metrics and budgets through business processes and systems
Plans and evaluates optimal resource utilization and efficiency of operation to minimize costs and allow for on-time delivery of product to customers.
Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and automate processes to produce quality products
Identifies and pursues new equipment and software technologies to improve production, cycle time, efficiency and resource utilization
Provides senior leadership, guidance, mentorship, and personal development of his/her direct reports in the areas of daily operational management, systems development, and optimization. And ensures that all direct reports are sufficiently skilled, trained, and perform their functions in efficient manner.
Identifies process and quality changes designed to improve manufacturing or department capabilities. Drives Lean, Safety and Quality.
Directs, guides, monitors, and evaluates personnel to accomplish specific production, housekeeping, and safety procedures and processes (6S).

Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of vertical and horizontal mills, CNC programming, plastics & metals machining, and sheet-metal manufacturing

$128,000.00 - $176,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
