Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor jobs in New Hampshire
Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines. Being a Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Description
Will-Mor Manufacturing is looking for a 2nd shift setup/ CNC Supervisor! Will-Mor Manufacturing is a leading precision CNC Manufacturer specializing in complex, tight-tolerance parts in the defense and aerospace industries.
The ideal candidate will be able to supervise 20 production employees in a CNC Machining facility. Maintain a positive working environment and coach individuals to succeed. Understand and support Will-Mor’s policies and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise 20 employees
- Speak effectively before groups and communicate with Machining Manager.
- CNC Set-up holding tight tolerances and meet production standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, conduct proper inspections of first piece runs and in process parts using standard inspection tools.
- Understand machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets and tool offsets.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Must have machine shop or manufacturing experience.
- Leadership or Supervisory experience.
- Ability to make good decisions.
