Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our warehouse and shop, including mechanical work, general shop duties, and possible assisting with deliveries. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Duties:

- Operate Oscar to move materials and products within the shop

- Assist with mechanical work, including troubleshooting and repairs

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking materials

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Experience:

- Previous experience is preferred

- Mechanical knowledge is required

- Experience using tools is desired

- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is beneficial

Skills:

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Knowledge of power tools and their safe usage

- Ability to work in a warehouse/shop environment

- Ability to fabricate and assemble parts using hand tools

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
