We are looking for CNC Lathe Operators to join our team.  We have openings on both the day and night shifts, Monday - Friday.  Our Day shift hours are currently from 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (normal day shift hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm).  Night shift is currently running 3:15 pm – 1:15 am (normal shift hours of 2:15 pm - 10:15).  We will return to our normal shifts once we get caught up on our workload. Occasional weekend hours are available as well. This is a non-exempt position that pays 1.5 times the hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week.

Summary/Objective: Set up and operate a CNC lathe machine while following company guidelines, safety requirements, quality requirements, and production standards.

Essential Functions:

· Read and follow traveler instructions

· Load and unload material and parts

· Measure and document inspection data for self and peers

· Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards

· Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes

· Document counts

· Organize, clean, and maintain work area

· Complete discrepant tag information

· Communicate with MSD on tooling needs and offer suggestions

· Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements

· Perform All Set Ups

· Other functions as deemed appropriate

Requirements

Competencies:

· Attention to detail

· Knowledge of machine and controller functions

· Able to set up CNC Lathe Machine

· Knowledge of machine tolerances

· Knowledge of GD&T

· Good mechanical skills

· Mathematical and geometrical knowledge

Minimum Qualifications:

· 2 or more Years CNC Lathe Operator experience

· 1 or more years of CNC Lathe Set Up experience

· High school diploma / GED
