Machine Feeder and Offbearer sets-up and operates a machine that automatically feeds or offbears. Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Machine Feeder and Offbearer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Machine Feeder and Offbearer performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machinery or equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- A wide variety of duties including sweeping, deburring parts, and basic building maintenance including housekeeping.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
